The Carolyn McKelvey Moore School of Nursing at UAFS offers qualified students a pathway to becoming an RN either through the two-year Associate of Applied Science in Nursing (ADN) or the four-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Professional nursing education integrates liberal and nursing education to foster critical thinking skills required for professional nursing and prepares nurses to practice effectively in a healthcare environment in diverse settings.
The ADN is your gateway to a rewarding degree in healthcare. In just two years, you can earn your associate degree and be well-prepared to take the NCLEX-RN exam, a crucial step in becoming a registered nurse.
The BSN is fully accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. UAFS's BSN program prepares highly competent nursing practitioners for professional careers in a dynamic healthcare environment. It provides the foundation for graduate education in nursing as well as professional leadership opportunities within clinical settings. UAFS's nursing program's high level of quality has also earned it accolades from the Colleges of Distinction.
